MAKE SURE your measurement is smaller than the door so that the kick-plate does not interfere with door closing.  In most cases 2" less than the door width is the correct kick-plate width.

Kick-Plates are Solid Stainless Steel with Weathered finishes.  Weathered finishes are textured, making them impractical candidates for lettering..  Magnetic Mounts are available for steel doors (not stainless steel doors), and available Adhesive Mounts adhere to any smooth surface. Normally, however, kick-Plates are shipped with finish-matched Philips-head screws for mounting.
