Competitive Pricing
Most of our prices are lower than those of our competitors after taking shipping charges into consideration.  Some of our prices are the same as those of our competitors, and occasionally our prices are slighly higher.  Some of our products ship "free" which means the shipping cost is built in to the price paid for the product.  This is an unfortunate requirement for some merchandise.  The reason for this is that we're not permitted to reduce prices for some items below a certain point.  In those cases we can and do offer free shipping.  After all is said and done, however, if you do find a lower price+shipping combination at another website, we'll usually beat it if you call us or fill out our email form.

We ship to Canada
Seattle Luxe is a non-resident importer under the government of Canada, which allows us to ship via UPS with all taxes (GST and PST, or HST) collected at the time of purchase.  The entire shipment is prepaid by us to your door.  This applies to NAFTA merchandise, which means almost everything we carry that's made in the USA.

Security
Security is tested daily by both PayPal, VeriSign, and McAfee.  All transactions occur on a secure server and are encrypted for your protection. 

You can recognize a secure server by two "signals" that appear in your browser.  First look for the little gold padlock that appears in the status bar, usually at the borrom of your browser.  Also, look at the address of the current page in your browser.  If the address begins with https://  (not http://) then you're on a secure server.  In the Seattle Luxe website, the secure server becomes active when you reach the checkout, where you enter your billing and credit card information.

Your credit card information is encrypted and is not stored on our website.  It is inaccessable to all but two high-level staff members.
