The cutting surface is made from four-inch-thick, solid end-grain Northern Hard Rock Maple. The Varnique finished expansive top will give you years and years of heavy-duty servicability.
Varnique is a semi-gloss finish that's virtually maintenance free. Impervious to household chemicals it cleans up easily with mild soap and water. It is a fine furniture look - not suitable for chopping and cutting.
The top surface is 30" x 60" oval and accessable from all sides. You also get two slatted lower shelves for storage plus three unique wicker basket "drawers" that give you quick access to a host of items; pots and pans, utensils, linens, towels, ingredients, and more. Your choice of 10 finishes.
