Tops are 1½" thick Hard Rick Edge Grain Maple, with oil finish, providing an excellent cutting surface. On the Drop-leaf model, an 8" drop leaf on the side opposite the drawer expands the work surface when needed.  Legs have adjustable glides and the model without the drop leaf, seven sizes are available, each with one shelf, two shelves, or no shelves.
