The postman never rings twice -- he sounds his bugle! At least that's the way it was in days of yore. And here's a mailbox reminiscent of the "good old" days when the Old World postman indeed blew his bugle. Designed to be bolted to a cement "pad" this sand-cast solid aluminum mailbox weighs 35 lbs, including the post. You can specify any text you'd like on the incoming mail slot which reads POSTBRIEFKASTEN in the photo - that means "post-mailbox.". This German-made Mailbox is custom made for you, and no two are exactly alike - although they are very, very close to our photo. The Mailbox back is flat. The incoming mail slot is 11 ¾" x 1¾" - large enough for the biggest envelopes. Locking mail-removal door is supplied with two keys - your choice of a non-locking turning knob closure. Non-standard post heights are available, to allow for unusual curb heights or delivery requirements ±5". Your choice of eight finishes.
