The Tower Mailbox closely resembles our $3,000 German mailbox, which you can see here. Although the ecco 8 doesn't have the some of the custom features of the $3,000 mailbox, it sure does look great! Powder-coat solid aluminum will never rust. Black or Brown
The mailbox is installed by bolting it to a concrete or wood pedestal. The rear access door is used during manufacturing, but can also be used to retrieve mail. But bear in mind that the reach to the bottom of the mailbox is about sixteen inches. Both the front and rear doors are keyed alike. Two keys are supplied. No mounting hardware supplied. Shipped completely assembled.

The finish is a hand applied mottled or antique finish. The black mailbox is not totally black as the black color is applied to a dark brown powder coat base so some of the brown is visible especially in the small crevices of the motifs and details where sometimes the paint does not reach. Unfortunately the difference is so faint on the black color that it is not noticeable in our photos.
