This is the only contemparary curbside mailbox that we know of, in the country. All House Art Curbside mailboxes are double-door mailboxes, with a door in the front and an identical door in the rear, for safety. Curbside mailboxes are Stainless Steel, except for the Dark Bronze, where a compromise was made to achieve the best color - they're heavily powder-coat protected cold-rolled (regular) steel.
House-mount mailboxes are heavy-gauge 3/16" aluminum with all aluminum hardware. Most of these mailboxes will outlive their owners, and all of them carry a manufacturer's Lifetime Warranty against defects.
Finishes available are Satin Black, Satin Silver, Rust, and Dark Bronze.
Address Numbers
by House Art are available in eight high-fashion color finishes. They coordinate perfectly with House-Art Mailboxes.
There are two types of numbers, both available in all finishes; 3/8" standoff mounting, or self-stick adhesive mounts. Numbers with 3/8" standoffs appear to float and are best used in non-mailbox installations. The reason is that the mailboxes are extremely difficult to drill through - and one slip of the drill will result in a ruined mailbox and a voided warranty. We therefore strongly recommend Self-Adhesive Numbers, which involve no such dangers, and which permanently adhere to the mailbox. The fonts, finishes, and sizing, for the self-stick adhesive numbers are all identical to the standoff numbers. If ordered with your mailbox, Self-Adhesive numbers are shipped uninstalled, with mounting templates and instructions.
If you prefer, House-Art technicians will drill and install standoff numbers for you. There is a charge of $10.00 per number, in addition to the price of the numbers themselves.
