Outgoing-Mail blocking plate Ordered with mailbox

If you specify a Blocking Plate, a solid steel plate is inserted between the outgoing mail section and the mailbox frame so that the outgoing mail area (marked "ENVELOPES" in the left-hand photo) is completely blocked and inaccessible.  This option is permanent and cannot be removed nor can it be added later.  Note that the 2" incoming slot is a separate no-charge option.
