Electrical Bathroom Mirror Defogger

by Clear-Mirror

Keep your Bathroom Mirrors Fog-Free!

The Original Clear Mirror is an electrical bathroom mirror defogger that you cannot see, but allows you to see in those everyday foggy conditions. The Original Clear Mirror is a very thin heater that adheres to the back of your mirror. It can be wired to the same power supply as the bathroom light or exhaust fan. Or it can be wired independently. With the simple flip of a switch, the pad heats automatically, preventing condensation on the mirror - leaving the reflecting surface fully visible.

The Original Clear Mirror is UL Listed, C-UL listed, and tested to CSA international standards. Uses standard 110/120 volts.

The Original Clear Mirror has been tested and used for industrial applications for over 25 years. A five-year replacement warranty against product defects is provided. The Original Clear Mirror comes in 3 sizes. Your preference can be selected from the price list beneath the picture on the left hand side of this page.

The guide below does not imply the mirror that you are currently considering is available with all or any of the magnifications listed here, it is simply to help you select the best magnifications for your needs. Please see complete product description for a particular items magnification.

Don't make the mistake of automatically opting for the greatest magnification offered. Most people are surprised to find how strong that might be. Most cosmetic-counter makeup mirrors have 3x magnification power, but our most popular magnification power is 5x. Indeed if you have vision problems or you have particularly critical tasks to accomplish, then you may opt to go with a higher magnification makeup mirror - we have mirrors ranging from 1x (non-magnified) all the way up to 10x magnification. (To give you an idea of what 10x is like: a jeweler's loop is 10x power.)

Factors other than the magnification itself affect the quality of the image you see. The size of the makeup mirror is an important factor. When two makeup mirrors with the same magnification are compared, the larger size makeup mirror always wins - both for image clarity and freedom from distortion.

To help you select the magnification that might work best for you, please see the images below to get a general idea of how much of your face will be visible in a particular magnification. These images are an approximation and may not be 100% accurate and are dependent upon several factors, including size of mirror, distance from mirror, etc.
