Curbside mailboxes with this Old World appearance such as this are few and far between. It'll take a beating and provide you with locking capability to keep your mail secure. Designed to be bolted to a cement "pad" this sand-cast solid aluminum mailbox weighs 55 lbs, including the post. You can specify any text, both the door (upper text) and on the incoming mail slot - see below. This German-made Mailbox conjures up images of Old World in the cities days of horse-drawn carriages. Each mailbox is custom made for you, and no two are exactly alike - although they are very, very close to our photo. The incoming mail slot is 9 3/4" x 1 3/4" - large enough for the biggest envelopes. Locking mail-removal door is supplied with two keys - your choice of a non-locking turning knob closure. Non-standard post heights are available, to allow for unusual curb heights or delivery requirements +/- 5". The Mailbox back is flat. Hand made in Germany and shipped freight-free to your door.
