Identity theft is the fastest growing white-collar crime. Our steel locking insert for GDM mailboxes offers you security and peace of mind. The locking insert is made completely of steel, including a (heavy) 12 gauge steel door. The finish is polyester sunlight-resistant powder coating. Stainless steel hardware used throughout. Two keys are included.

Only you have the keys. Your letter carrier deposits the incoming mail in the incoming mail slot in the locking insert. Only you can remove the mail, using your key. Outgoing mail is left for the letter carrier on the "shelf" atop the locking insert. If there are large items such as magazines or small packages, you carrier can utilize the "shelf" as well.

Ordered without a mailbox, the locking insert is considered a mailbox part and becomes non-refundable.

Note: The GDM Locking Insert is not compatible with the Newport Mailbox. This product is only compatible with medium sized Belmont and Country Estate mailboxes.
