Low: 2 to 3 hours to assemble and install
Medium: 3 to 5 hours to assemble and install
High: 6 to 9 hours to assemble and install
Assembly and installation times are approximate. Our estimates are based on a "beginner" skill set.
Vinyl posts and pieces, unlike wood, are perfect. This perfection makes installation easier, because the parts fit. (i.e., not "almost fit"). Lattices fit into a vertically grooved frame on most arbors and trellises, which is secured directly to the post. All hardware is stainless steel.

Arch Keystone Detail
New England Arbors vinyl Arbors are made by molding premium high-grade polyvinyl and polyethylene around modern structural elements to provide long-lasting beauty, durability and quality. Unlike wood, it will not weather, warp or de-laminate over time. It won't rot, nor will it change. The only maintenance necessary might be a good hosing-down every few years. New England Arbors backs this statement with a 20-Year-Limited Warranty. Vinyl Arbors will last longer than wood and are virtually maintenance-free; no painting required - although they can be painted if desired.
Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC): PVC is the main component in the manufacturing process of New England Arbor products. New England Arbor vinyl is formulated out of a rigid dry-blend compound developed for high output extrusion. The exclusive formula is blended for outdoor toughness and color hold. In addition Titanium Dioxide is added near the surface to whiten and provide long-term weatherability.
New England Arbors products are safe enough for even the youngest members of your family, because they have smooth surfaces with no nails, and no sharp edges or splinters. Not only do our arbors hold up to regular property maintenance, but they're also made to bounce back on impact because they're reinforced with impact modifiers and in some cases internal ribbing. It is wise, however, to be careful when using mowers, weeders or clippers along your fence line to prevent surface damage.
